you should still get near 8psi i would think. I have stock manifolds but then its 2.5" pipe all the way back no cats, I still make like 8.2ish psi up top. Do Long tubes really make that big of a difference?

Good job on finding all of your leaks. Sounds like you will need to weld repair your intercooler. Those are welds, not solder. If you know someone who can tig weld aluminum (GTAW, AC polarity, argon gas, or GTAW, DC straight polarity, Argon-helium mix), they can fix it for you. If its visible, they may be able to repair this with the intercooler installed in the car. This type of defect is very rare, as I'm assuming Procharger leak tests all of their intercoolers. They will fix it for you. See if you can get them to exchange it, so your car won't be down too long.

At least you found the problem. As I always say, "you get what you inspect, not what you expect"

Well today was another day of back and forth with American muscle and Procharger since Procharger says AM is the one that needs to resolve the issue and AM says Procharger needs to resolve the issue well I'm going to give them till Friday to call me before I bitch them both out. Like you say west Procharger SHOULD check for leaks wich aperently they did not this hole was on the part wen it arrived I noticed it but did not pay much attention as I'm ignorant to welds and making metal parts but now that is proven to actually cause a problem then I need it replaced I'm not spending a dime on repairing something that's supposed to be brand new...

think of an engine as a balloon with 2 openings. If you blow in one end hard and long enough, you can inflate the balloon up. Now, lets say you increase the diameter of the opening you are not blowing through. This means that in order to blow the balloon up to the same size, you now need to increase the pressure. If you apply the same pressure, the balloon will not inflate to the same pressure. In order to increase the pressure, you need a smaller pulley to spin the SC rotor faster.

Yes Procharger does warranty the tuner kit. But you have to have your tuner kit installed by an authorized installer and then send the paperwork to Procharger. Then you can also get the extended warranty.

Also, the other reason why the tuner kit has an advantage over the complete kit is if you install larger injectors to begin with, like you can with the tuner kit, as it does not come with any, you only need to purchase one set of injectors. Also if you already have the SCT tuner, you don't need to pay for another one.

well you need to have x3 tuner, not an SF3 and when i was ordering my procharger i had to cancel my first order because Procharger loves to get lied to so when i said i had Headers they said they could not tune for headers, i said thats fine i was going to take it to get dynotuned.... and they wanted me to sign a letter, that basicly said they are not liable for any damage to the car and by signing the letter i gave away my rights to warranty because warranty was for the KIT... so no i was not going to sign it... and then they said well we can only sell you the tuner kit and i said ok.... what does the Tuner kit bring they said everything except tuner injectors the base tune and the warranty i was WHATTTTT!!! ohh hells no... how am i going to spend 5k on you guys and not get warranty .......... SOOOOOO i canceled the order and reordered by LIEYING!! the full kit...

Its a matter of liability. Their canned tune is set up without headers, which will change their tune. This is why they wanted you to sign the letter. With the tuner kit, they warranty the head unit. If you get the extended warranty, you also get several bottles of SC oi for changes. I had the X3 tuner and an automatic, but even if I had had a manual trans, I still would have gotten the tuner kit.

If you look on their website, and in the back of the installation guide, the information on the extended warranty is there. Most of the time, the stock injectors with the complete kit are less than adequate for any further performance mods, and a dyno tune is always a good thing to do, so you are paying for an X3 SCT tuner. Also with the tuner kit, you can specify the pulley, and even go to a D1SC head unit. I could not figure out why I didn't go for the D1SC in the first place, as it is only $250.00 extra. Now it will cost me $1500.00 to upgrade.

It's not a big deal west it's an upgrade but that's not that much of a difference the reason I did not get the tuner kit is because they assured me that it wasn't warrantied thats why I did not get it but AM originally returned me 689$ coming out to e 4200 for the tuner kit they had already ordered the tuner kit from them so that's when all the hassle began I specifically said I was going to tune the car at a dyno I just needed the base tune and they denied me... So since I was honest and that did not work I reordered and lied to them since that's what they like..... I specifically toled them .. You know I could of easily lied to you guys and they said yeah but we know now so these are the measures ... So they like to be lied to
