SCT Livewire

SCT Livewire

As we all know the factory ECU can be re-tuned via a handheld programer. I upgraded from the SCT 3 to the SCT livewire. It has built in gauges on a 4″ screen and holds up to 10 different tunes versus 3 on the regular SCT 3 and 4. Plus it reads and erases DTCs. I picked this unit up from the guys over a JMS Chip. They do a lot of tuning and recommended this unit for all my tuning needs. You can see it in my track videos.

[twocol_one]GMC_6513[/twocol_one] [twocol_one_last]Here is the ODBII cable. I routed it in the steering column. It tucks away like this when I am not using it.[/twocol_one_last]

[twocol_one]GMC_6512[/twocol_one] [twocol_one_last]It fits a standard Garmin gps holder. I chose one that hooks to the vents. This was a perfect spot for me to watch those water temps while on track. [/twocol_one_last]

[twocol_one]GMC_6511[/twocol_one] [twocol_one_last]I have a ODBII connector that splits and is nicely designed with an L so that it does not stick into your leg. Note the SCT livewire does not like to share the ODBII signal. It grabs the signal once and then stops. [/twocol_one_last]
